LA Flex - Local Authority Flexible

LA Flex (Local Authority Flexible) is now part of the ECO Funding - Phase 4 that allows local councils to approve funding for households who do not receive the qualifying benefits needed. This means that even if you're not on benefits, you may still be eligible for free energy-saving upgrades to your home!

Property Requirements for ECO Funding

Even if you qualify through personal circumstances (such as qualifying benefits or LA Flex), your property must also meet certain criteria to be approved for the funding.

Key property requirements include:

Must be either owner-occupied or privately rented households (Landlord permission is required for rented properties)
Property must have a lower EPC Rating (typically from E to G, however some D-Rated homes may be eligible. We can provide this through a free home survey)

A free survey would be carried out by us at KPC Consultancy to confirm if the home meets the technical requirements for ECO4 Upgrades.

Free Home Check

If your home looks eligible, we'll pass your details to one of our approved ECO4 Installers who will then carry out a full home energy survey, free of charge, to confirm the current EPC Rating (D or below) and ensure that the planned upgrades will raise it to at least a C rating, which is required for funding approval.
